About: “Popcorn” was short-lived, but cast a long shadow. There were only six issues, but every issue is sought-after and chock-full of awesome stuff. The magazine had to take a break after a scandalous storyline in Akatsuka Fujio’s “Caster” manga in their June issue, but they came back with this August issue featuring their usual Marvel comics in Japanese translation (this issue has Iron Man, Captain America, Avengers and Conan the Barbarian), as well as work by Otomo Katsuhiro, Kaze Shinobu, Baron Yoshimoto, Hideo Azuma and more.
